Apart from the fact that I am constantly learning about new destinations, I also have met and formed so many wonderful business relationships with travel agents who are also passionate about travel and discovering the world.

Who do you admire and see as a role model in the travel industry?
Mahen Sanghrajka, owner of Big Five Tours and Expeditions, who not only is passionate about worldwide destinations, but wants all of his tours to be inspiring to those who travel with his company. He has 40 years in customizing tours.

What do you want to see improve in the industry?
As the internet travel companies move forward in creating more opportunities for consumers to travel, my hope is that the consumers who shop on-line will also be influenced to contact the home-based as well as brick and mortar travel agents that have the knowledge and experience in customizing tours, and setting up every detail of a tour to perfection.

What destinations are on your travel bucket list?
Although I have travelled worldwide to so many destinations, I still have on my bucket list to visit Argentina, Fiji, Japan, & Holland. And there are many more.

What’s a memorable travel experience you’ve had?
Visiting the Normandy Coast of France with family, and seeing the landing sites for World War II gave me a greater appreciation for our U.S. soldiers who gave their lives to liberate France and Europe as a whole.

Umbrella, sunscreen, and toothbrush.

Name someone famous with whom you’d like to travel and where you’d to take them.
